About the Centre
Dr. George Chen and his wife, Dr. Kitty Kwo, have been dedicated practitioners of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine in the quiet, residential community of Westville since 2004.
Dr. Chen has had the privilege of caring for countless patients, many of whom he is honoured to now call friends. Together, they remain committed to their mission of healing — guided by the belief that true wealth lies in good health.
Traditional Chinese Medicine
Acupuncture is an ancient healing practice and key part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It involves gently inserting very fine needles into specific points on the body to restore balance, relieve pain, and promote overall well-being.
TCM includes acupuncture, herbal medicine, cupping, moxibustion, and dietary guidance. At its heart is the belief that good health comes from a balanced flow of energy — or Qi — through the body.
More and more South Africans are turning to TCM as a gentle, effective way to manage chronic conditions, improve quality of life, and maintain long-term wellness.
Why Acupuncture?
Effective for back pain, neck pain, arthritis, headaches, and sports injuries.
Strengthens your body's natural defences and reduces the likelihood of illness.
